How Our Tractor Armours Are Made

SCANNING THE TRACTOR

We maintain an extensive database of scanned tractors. If your specific model isn’t in our database, we can perform a 3D scan right at your site. All we need is a small covered area (scanning is not possible in rain or snow) and access to a power supply.

DESIGNING THE ARMOUR

The armour design takes into account the location of all tractor service points to ensure access to them while the protective structure is installed. The panels are mounted on a subframe (rails) to minimize interference with the tractor’s structural components.

How We Make Your Tractor Armour

We create custom solutions for all forestry tractor models — such as Valtra, John Deere, Claas, Case, McCormick, Kubota, Fendt, Steyr, Zetor, MTZ Belarus, and others. We use 3D laser scanning to ensure that the components we supply are precisely dimensioned.

The 3D scan serves as the foundation for our design team to create protective structures that fit the specific model perfectly, while ensuring continued access to service points, mounting holes, bolts, filters, and the like. The design is then sent to a CNC plasma cutter. The plasma-cut parts undergo bending, welding, and grinding before finally being powder-coated in our paint shop.

ASSEMBLY

We can perform the forestry conversion on your tractor at our workshop, but we also ship ready-made components for self-assembly. Each component is clearly marked and labeled so the customer can easily assemble the forestry package onto their tractor. Before shipment, the parts are shrink-wrapped to prevent potential damage during transport. The customer receives components ready for installation, with none exceeding 25–30 kg in weight, ensuring they can be lifted by a single person. Using the provided instructions, two people can mount the system on the tractor within eight hours using basic tools.

AT OUR PLACE

If you deliver your tractor to us, we can install the protective structure ourselves at our workshop in central Poland.
